Tasked with overseeing the comprehensive refurbishment of this two-bedroom maisonette for the luxury rental market, our studio developed the interior design scheme and managed each stage of the renovation project from start to completion.

The primary challenges included the existing separate kitchen, which was dark and outdated, the inefficient layout, and the lack of daylight on the ground floor.

We addressed these issues by removing the internal walls throughout the entire floor, creating an open-plan kitchen and lounge that is more practical and aligns with modern lifestyle trends. Another major enhancement was enclosing the underutilised patio, transforming it into a spacious dining area, perfect for entertaining and bringing in much-needed daylight across the ground floor. Optimising the layout also allowed us to include a guest cloakroom, which was great addition in both practical and investment terms.

The interior design finishes were meticulously selected to balance style and durability, featuring lush green velvets, rich golds, dark walnut, and black marble to evoke a sense of classic elegance and luxury. Textured cushions and fabrics, along with scented candles and diffusers, completed the apartment's styling, making it ready for immediate occupancy.
